GO is an improvisational system created and taught by Rosanna Gamson.
Since 2017, RGWW has led GO Workshops for circus artists, dancers, choreographers, actors and directors. Using the GO games, performers lose self-consciousness, stop self-criticizing, and find new vocabulary. GO is a physically and mentally demanding practice that allows participants to make significant progress in a short amount of time. GO games have been performed by RGWW as stand-alone events in dance and theater festivals, and used by other choreographers in their studios. Always the GO Workshops create a safe space for discovery and growth.
This workshop will be held from 10AM - 1PM on Saturday, September 23rd & Sunday, September 24th at the Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance. Performances of Sugar Houses will follow at the Icebox Project Space on both days.
