2022 OVERBOARD! CABARET - APPLICATIONS OPEN!

We're seeking single acts, short works, and immersive experiences of all kinds for Cannonball's Overboard! Cabaret, taking place Sunday-Friday September 7th-30th in the beautiful MAAS open air 5th Side space!

Run a rig with the Cannonball crowd on Sunday comedy nights, give audiences a taste of your full-length Fringe show at a Monday sample night, give back to the community for our Thursday benefit shows, fly high as a part of our circus spectacular on Fridays, or submit a wild, experimental piece to be a part of our o p e n  s t a g e or immersive garden bar!  

SEEKING VOLUNTEERS!

We are seeking volunteers with various skills and experience levels for Cannonball Festival, taking place September 1st-30th, 2022 at the MAAS Building and Icebox Project Space. Volunteers may be asked to assist with the following tasks:

Box Office Assistance: Volunteers will work under guidance of the Box Office Manager to assist audiences in purchasing tickets, navigating the venue, and answering general festival questions.
Production Crew: Volunteers will work under guidance of the festival Stage Managers to assist in the transitions of shows in the MAAS studio and garden. Duties may include lifting and moving props and set pieces, rearranging audience seating, and disinfecting performance spaces.
Marketing: Volunteers will work under guidance of the Festival Producers to assist in distributing print materials and maintaining the Cannonball website and social media. Duties may include curating and publishing Instagram posts, updating Facebook event pages, and writing up blog posts featuring mainstage artist interviews and event highlights.
Daily Festival Operations: Volunteers will work under guidance of the Festival Producers to assist in daily festival operations including venue upkeep, running merchandise tables, and assisting artists and audience members.

ARTIST HOST HOUSING & IN-KIND OFFERS

We are seeking host housing for several out-of-town Cannonball Festival artists between August 27 and September 19, as well as September 23-30. Do you or someone you know have a spare room, office, or couch you can offer, or offer a discounted rental rate on? Please let us know!!! Various artists, all very conscientious non-smokers.

Additionally, do you have a business or organization with something to offer the Cannonball community? Cannonball is all about pooling and re-distributing resources with our community, and are always accepting in-kind donations to share with our artists! All donations of goods and services are tax deductible through our fiscal sponsor, The Painted Bride. Everything from food and farm products, to services such as massages, to product samples, industry discounts and whatever other abundance you would like to share with the community is welcome and very appreciated!
