“Perceptions” is an interdisciplinary performance piece blending dance, costume, and storytelling to explore the fluid nature of human perception. Told entirely from the first person perspective, the piece unfolds inside the mind of the creator. A lived, vulnerable, and immersive journey through emotions such as anxiety, heartbreak, loss, and healing. The performance is structured in four acts, each symbolizing a different relationship with reality:
-Your reality is not reality
-You are altering your reality
-Your reality is not the only reality
-This time, your reality is reality
These chapters invite the audience into a deeply personal narrative that resonates broadly with the universal human experience.
This show is for you if…
you like lounging sea lions.
you like resigned dreary love stories.
