A young Egyptian man in his mid-twenties collapses onto his bed at the end of a long day.
Yet, instead of rest, he is forced into forty-five minutes of confrontation with everything he has tried to bury.
Memories resurface. Traumas speak. The weight of social expectations and the rigid mold of Eastern masculinity press upon him.
This experimental performance compresses the essence of inner struggle into a raw theatrical journey—where the bed becomes a battlefield, and silence transforms into confession.
"45 Minutes Before I Die" will be a recorded viewing of the live performance, recorded in Cairo, Egypt.
